About Horizon Sail Structures

Established in 1985 (and incorporated in 2004), Horizon Sail Structures Pty Ltd is one of Australia’s market leaders in high quality membrane structures, shade structures and related fabric works. Not only do we construct sails for the local and national market, but we have also penetrated the international market and our structures have been installed in countries like Singapore, Hong Kong, the United States and more recently Saipan.

We continue to expand in the area of one-off designs. Starting with umbrellas manufactured in Stainless Steel with high quality canopies through to sails that can expand to any customer requirement. We are proficient in the design and manufacture of custom designed shade and membrane structures. From the Mooloolaba Beach Club to the Coolangatta Service Station’s familiar sail awnings, the possibilities for sun and wind protection are endless. We not only provide sun and wind protection but our inventiveness extends to feature items such as the ‘kites’ located at Australia Fair shopping centre on the Gold Coast.

Our umbrellas and structures have been designed and developed in Australia for the harsh Australian climate and our continuing research into heat and UV protection enables us to manufacture the highest quality membrane and shade structures using the highest quality of architectural fabrics that are available on the market.
