Why the price difference?

WHAT REALLY GOES INTO A COMMERCIAL SHADE STRUCTURE?
In this post, we discus a common question in our industry which usually comes because clients have unreal expectations about the perceived price difference between a commercial shade structure and a residential shade sail.

"Why the price difference?" they ask, simply because they don't understand that commercial and residential shade structures are two completely different beasts.
Unfortunately in our industry many contractors also fail to recognise the differences and start to quote commercial projects, using residential shade sails, knowledge, techniques and pricing.  While these two kinds of shade sails may appear  similar there is simply no way that a residential sail will ever live up to the structural integrity of a commercial one.

So next time you receive a quotation which is remarkably cheaper that one from a commercial shade sail company, you had better check all the materials and procedures that have gone into the quote. Also check the companies track record. Are they really a commercial shade sail company or are they a residential contractor, who's getting too ambitious?

If you want to know the differences between commercial and residential and you want to clearly see want to see why commercial should cost more...

These 2 commercial structures are almost the same. Thank you so much for clarifying the differences of each prices.
